7mm bundle : 20 Single covers & 20 Double covers
I used them for the first time last week, I found them to be fantastic so much so I ordered a set of single socket savers
All in a brilliant product.
I needed to redecorate a 2 bed apartment that had 50 x stainless steel flat plate sockets/switches which had been caulked. I really didnt want to spend time masking these up but knew that the slimline socket saver covers were designed for 7mm thick sockets/switches and mine were 1-2mm thick.
However I was able to adapt the covers with the addition of some additional magnets (Gauder 12mm wide x 5mm deep in packs of 100 for £8.99 from a well known online retailer). These magnets just clip to the cover magnets and in fact because they are exactly the same size, look like they were designed for this purpose. Perhaps this is something Socket Saver could consider as an add-on?
Anyway it goes without saying that just clipping on 50 covers was a huge time saver, so am verry happy.

I bought a beautiful tall plant that likes to be misted, I realised that my double socket was getting wet and said plant, too heavy to keep pulling out, onto Google I go, after seeing lots of what I didn’t want, I came across Spraysocketsaver.co.uk - socket shields single, double with magnet, purpose described to protect when painting, a little unsure it may have been a few mm off in size, I contacted their customer service, Kate responded swiftly, she asked me for a photo and depth, sent me a link of the product which was available in a trial pack, (very customer driven) Kate also invited me to let her know how I got on- (again, very customer driven) it was absolutely perfect, covers the socket completely and Kate sent me a spare FOC, absolutely brilliant service, nothing too much trouble, so personable, just a lovely human, thanks again Kate! As for the socket shield, quality product with many uses, I wish I had thought of it!
